Why You Need To Grow Upside Down Blueberries Like… Yesterday

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

This whole thing is assuming that you actually like blueberries. An obvious thing to say, but in this day and age — especially on the Internet — you can never be too careful.

Whether you like to garden or not, or even if you don’t even understand the benefits of being able to grow something pretty much wherever you want, you need to start to grow upside down blueberries. Like the title states, you also need to have started doing this, like, yesterday. Yes, it’s that cool!

Growing upside down blueberries enables you to literally grow blueberries inside of your own house — in the winter! Take a minute and think about that for a minute. Picture the next Thanksgiving holiday at your house, with a freshly baked blueberry pie being passed out to all of your relatives and most importantly, your in-laws. Everyone comments on how delicious it is and you return fire by explaining how you grew the blueberries yourself.

One of your in-laws, being… well, in-laws, will probably state, “But that’s impossible — it’s too cold outside and… and… you live in an apartment building — do you even have a garden?” You calmly will motion towards your sink, where hanging above it is a finely ripe vine of fresh, fat, plump blueberries.

And that’s just one example — you should want to grow upside down blueberries for your own greedy desires because you’ll get to eat them, sell them or admire them all by yourself — all throughout the year! Are you ordering the goods to grow upside down blueberries online yet?

Well you should be! Get going!

Yes, Seriously: Upside Down Blueberries

Despite being the next big thing (at least in the gardening community), there’s still a frightening amount of people that don’t know about upside down blueberries and this, obviously, is an absolute travesty. If you’ve ever gotten stressed out trying to find the perfect place for your crops and seedlings or fretted over not being able to grow anything in the winter because you live in the Arctic, then upside down blueberry growing is for you. Trust us!

If you are in the minority — or rather, the majority — of people who don’t know much about growing upside down blueberries then you don’t need to do much research or studying. It literally is just growing upside down blueberries so that you can place them in areas of your house or garden where the sunlight, air moisture and air circulation is best. Also, as we mentioned earlier, you can grow pretty much whatever you want (including upside down blueberries of course!) whenever you want! That includes in the winter — or for those of us in the less fortunate parts of the world, the colder parts of the fall and spring.

So if you thought that growing upside down blueberries was a myth or downright impossible, then now you know the truth! And don’t just think that it’s only regulated to blueberry growing — it’s pretty much any crop you can imagine in the realm of “not enormous” (see, anything smaller than a medium sized apple — sorry, no upside down watermelon growing…).
